🚀 Private Coaching
Signature Program
Clarity & Completion is a focused coaching experience designed to provide clarity and consistent accountability while strengthening the alignment, organization, synthesis, and APA-level scholarly writing of your qualitative dissertation proposal.
If you’re struggling to start or finish your qualitative dissertation proposal, one-on-one coaching provides the structured, step-by-step support needed to move forward with clarity and direction.
About the Program
This 12-week, one-on-one coaching experience is designed for doctoral candidates across disciplines (PhD, EdD, DBA, DNP, DSW, etc.) who are writing qualitative dissertations and are ready to make real progress.
It was intentionally created for women of color who are tired of second-guessing their writing and are ready to move from stalled drafts to a proposal that is clear, organized, and ready for committee review.
In this experience, I work closely with candidates—page by page—so you are not left trying to figure things out on your own. You receive not only hands-on support, but also the consistent support and accountability needed to stay focused, follow through, and keep your writing moving forward. I review proposal drafts the way your chair would, focusing on alignment, organization, synthesis, and APA writing, and I explain what needs to be strengthened so you understand exactly how to move forward.
You can choose to submit your work weekly or bi-weekly and receive professional feedback the following day. Your feedback is provided both orally, during our coaching sessions, and in writing through a detailed summary document shared after each session. Along with your feedback, I provide clear guidance, along with examples and models as needed – so you can see what your writing should look like and understand how to move forward with confidence.
If you’re ready for clear direction, consistent support, dependable accountability, and REAL progress, this experience is designed for you.
This is not a quick fix or a generic program. It is a focused, high-touch coaching experience designed to support steady progress, reduce unnecessary revision cycles, and help your proposal develop into a document that is clear, organized, and ready for committee review.

Experienced Coach.
Qualitative Methodologist.
I’m Dr. Matthews—a qualitative methodologist and dissertation coach.
I help women of color complete qualitative dissertation Chapters 1–3 through 12 weeks of structured, weekly coaching focused on alignment, organization, synthesis, and APA writing.
Most of the candidates who partner with me are not stuck because they lack intelligence, discipline, or effort. They’re stuck because they’ve been working without a clear understanding of how their proposal is expected to come together—and that leads to unnecessary rewrites, frustration, and lost time.
My coaching focuses on strengthening the core of the proposal—alignment, organization, synthesis, and scholarly writing—so the work you submit reflects what your chair and committee are actually looking for.
This is not a done-for-you service. It’s structured, intentional coaching designed to help you write with confidence, make informed decisions, and move forward without second-guessing every paragraph.
My goal is simple: to help you stop guessing, reduce revisions, and submit work that moves you closer to approval.
If you’re looking for clarity, structure, and momentum in your proposal process, you’re in the right place.

Quotes of Former Clients
When I first looked into getting coaching support, I’ll admit, I thought the cost was too much. Now, I know that saying YES to coaching was not only the exact help I needed to restore my clarity and momentum, it is the best decision and investment I could have ever made to help me finally finish.
